PDA Information and where to purchase

The PDA from O2 , named the xda, combines a handheld PC/PDA with a mobile phone to give you a host of useful functionality. This enables Roadrunner SDI to be connected with the office continuously at low cost using the latest GPRS technology.

The xda is used very much like the PC you are using right now. It uses the Windows CE operating system (this version of windows requires no booting, as soon as you switch it on it is ready to use) which has the standard windows taskbar, start button, clock, as well as other Windows items you are familiar with. Instead of a mouse you use either the stylus provided (which is stored inside the xda) or for the Roadrunner SDI system you can even use your finger!

The xda can be purchased directly from O2 at their online shop (shop.o2.co.uk), alternatively, the xda can be purchased from most local high street mobile phone retailers, just ask for the O2 xda.

In most cases this can be be purchased as an upgrade from your existing mobile phone, meaning lower cost to you.
